As the Cloud Operations Manager / Cloud Infrastructure Operations Manager you'll lead internal and external teams responsible for the implementation, security and operation of the Cloud infrastructure platforms.
As the Cloud Operations Manager / Cloud Infrastructure Operations Manager you'll be responsible for leading and managing a team consisting of Cloud Infrastructure Analysts and a DBA, you'll be defining, planning, and delivering the strategic infrastructure platform in line with the infrastructure roadmap. Managing suppliers effectively, forming partnerships and ensuring they adhere to the agreed SLAs, you'll ensure the cloud platform is managed effectively defining and operating best practice processes to run and operate the cloud platform providing an efficient and secure platform.
You'll provide strong proactive leadership and management for a diverse team, including recruitment, training and development, disciplinary matters, and appraisals, ensuring effective allocation and use of staff to empower your team to take ownership, providing guidance and direction to achieve results through the team.
In a wide-ranging role, your accountabilities will include, but are not limited to infrastructure strategy and innovation and well as IT infrastructure management, covering security, continuity management, network planning, penetration testing, problem management and change management.

Location: London with flexible and remote working
Salary: c£70,000 pa plus pension, generous holiday, insurance etc.
Start Date: ASAP.
Duration: Permanent full-time post.
About you! You'll need to make full use of your experience and skills, being able to demonstrate successful delivery of Infrastructure Operations / Infrastructure Management in a customer focussed business, securing value for money and high levels of customer satisfaction; where you have implemented IT Software systems in a complex IT environment including cloud environments using ITIL.
You'll have experience in managing public cloud infrastructure platforms such as Microsoft Azure specifically using tools and services such as Azure Backup and Site Recovery, Azure Monitor, Azure Arc etc.
In addition, as an experienced Infrastructure Manager, you'll have experience in Windows PC, mobile phones, tablets and Server operating systems, Storage Systems, Network protocols & configuration, Network and Systems Security, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365 & VoIP Technology.
Along with your technical skills, you'll have strong communication skills, be comfortable and have experience in developing and managing relationships across IT and the business. Using your good time management and organisational skills you'll manage simultaneously conflicting priorities and have the ability to work methodically.
