Senior Finance Manager - Supply Chain | ECommerce | up to £75,000 | Central London or Remote with travel

JSS are partnering an instantly recognisable ECommerce business who have grown from strength to strength over the last 10 years. With the move towards automation of their warehouses and growth in other markets, they're hiring a newly created role as number two to the Head of Finance - Supply Chain, Capex & tech.

The successful candidate will have experience at a senior manager level within supply chain finance and will be able to demonstrate resilience with stakeholders up to exec level. This opportunity will also allow the successful candidate to move into a Head of Finance position within the next 12/18 months.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Work with Regional Supply Chain Finance Managers to build holistic supply chain view and ensure best practice across team
  • Support warehouse & distribution costs for Europe analysing run rates, looking for opportunities and analysing trends to understand future impact
  • Challenge all cost areas looking to drive performance and analyse trends
  • Critically analyse site budget and forecast submissions for ASOS approval
  • Work with the respective operational teams to guide and recommend appropriate changes within the warehouse operations
  • Forecasting & Budgeting of capex spend, P&L depreciation including IFRS16 and management of the Fixed Asset Register
  • Ensuring full governance of capex spend including review & challenge of Capex requests
  • Coordinating capex sign off process up to CFO level
  • Managing internal/external audit requirements
  • Management of a team of 3


Position Qualifications:
  • Significant experience (2 yrs minimum) within a Supply Chain Finance Role, ideally at Manager/Senior Manager level
  • Ability to analyse and interpret financial data, draw conclusions and make recommendations
  • Strong communication and the capability to prioritise and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and line management skills
  • Financial modelling and use of financial and reporting systems (MS Excel, SQL Server, Microstrategy, TM1, Dynamics all preferred)
  • Excellent presentational skills (MS PowerPoint) and confident of presenting to senior management
  • ACA/CIMA/ACCA Qualified - 5 Year PQE minimum
