Orbis are working with one of the world's largest defence companies to recruit for a Cyber Pre-Sales Consultant. The chosen applicant will part of the Financial Services Pre-Sales team and will focus mainly on Cyber Security.

With their extensive experience and worldwide presence across international security and defence, the company provide their customers with a competitive edge across air, maritime, land and cyber domains.

About you:

You will have a strong background in Consultancy, with a minimum of 5 years consultative experience, preferably in the Cyber Security space and will have proven experience in financial services. You will have strong communication skills and will have the ability to drive growth in Cyber Security.

Responsibilities:
  • Build strong relationships with technical stakeholders in order to drive technical sales engagement
  • Support the cyber sales team to pursue cyber sales opportunities
  • Develop cyber services that fit client requirements
  • Work closely with the product team & managers to define roadmaps and sector-focusses services


The ideal candidate will have:
  • Proven background in Cyber Consulting
  • Financial services experience
  • An industry recognised certification (e.g. CISM, CRISC, CISSP or equivalent)
  • Specific knowledge in at least one of the following: Enterprise Cyber Risk Management, Security Strategy and Governance, Security Testing/Operations Services, Regulatory Compliance services (FCA, PRA, GDPR), Security Architecture or similar
  • The ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, previous engagement with high-end clients desired
  • Subject matter expertise - a strong understanding of the task at hand and credibility
