This is a brand new role within one of my favourite full service digital marketing agencies - a small but growing agency who are quickly expanding due to new business wins and ongoing success. It's a brilliant time to join this tight knit team and shape your own career within client services.
The agency specialises in integrated digital marketing (SEO, PPC, Content, Social), some web design/development and online advertising. They have a great portfolio of well known clients and they have grown their business by over 40% in the last year or so.
Role and Responsibilities
The team requires an experienced Digital Account Manager
, for an exciting role based in their Glasgow office (based centrally) working on some of their most prestigious accounts and other exciting consumer brands. Ideally, the candidate will have solid experience of working with sizeable clients from an agency perspective, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role as you will be responsible for managing and growing client engagement activities across key accounts.
Working within the small client services team, the Account Manager will work closely with all internal and external stakeholders to formulate, brief, implement and deliver successful and leading-edge digital solutions for a range of clients.
Acting as the main point of contact for clients, you will be adept at building and maintaining strong relationships by providing top class levels of customer service and should be capable of managing and delivering often complex projects for your clients, within agreed budget and timescales.
It is important that you have a breadth of knowledge across all digital disciplines, including Web channel marketing, CMS systems, web design and build, e-commerce, mobile web and apps, SEO, PPC, Social media, email marketing, and online advertising. But the most important thing is your ability to interact with the client.
We need a confident and hardworking digital account manager who will relish playing a key role within a fast-paced team with passion and enthusiasm for all things digital. You need to be a strong team player who can effectively influence and motivate those around you in a positive manner and able to build respect and trust from colleagues and clients alike. You will also be able to prioritise your own workload, be dependable, adaptable, and calm under pressure since this role (whilst supported) is fairly autonomous.
Essential Skills include:
- Building strong, enduring relationships with clients
- Strong commercial awareness
- Demonstrable ability to plan & implement commercial and strategic development of client accounts
- Confident to lead client meetings at all levels
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills - you can clearly articulate ideas and solutions
- Accurate financial forecasting and project invoicing
- Solid project and account management skills
- Scoping and documentation of client requirements where required
- Rounded knowledge of all digital discipline
- Previous agency experience
- Degree in marketing / business / digital (or equivalent work experience)
Salary is purely dependent on skills & experience to £32,000 + great benefits and a fantastic culture.
