An opportunity has arisen for a full-time Business Unit Service Manager, based in the Business Unit in Ninewells Hospital. Working in support of the Director of Performance and Activity, the successful individual will lead, operationally manage and be responsible for the delivery of NHS Taysides Business Unit, comprising:
- NHS Taysides Health and Business Intelligence Unit
- Complaints and Feedback Team
- Legal Team
- Cancer Information and Audit Team
Providing visible supportive and accessible leadership and direction to approximately 50 Business Unit staff, the successful candidate will operationally manage and implement the key deliverables of these services to support and drive the business intelligence and feedback led culture at operational and strategic levels.
The role has a national and organisational wide profile and will support Tayside NHS Board on the translation of national waiting times directives, policies and measurement methodology into NHS Taysides strategic policy and operational guidance supported through clinical system development, performance monitoring, training and learning networks across the organisation.You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
