We are looking to recruit a qualified and versatile SEN teacher to take on a full-time position for the Autumn term with a view to becoming permanent from January 2022
The role is based within an outstanding special school that caters for students aged 4-19 living with Autism and a range of associated communication, social, sensory and learning differences. Offering a unique and modern learning environment in which like minded team members are passionate about the learning and progress of their pupils.
Specifically, this teaching role will be based in their KS2 team working with a class of up to 9 students who have low functioning autism or are non verbal. There will be 3 teaching assistants in the class to support.Job Requirements:
- You must have full-time availability ASAP
- Be able to plan, deliver & mark in line with the full responsibilities of a class teacher.
- Hold QTS or QTLS
- Have recent relevant teaching experience working with Autistic pupils
- Have obtainable references that speak to your high standards of teaching.
In return, the position offers competitive pay rates from £140 - £180 per day as well as the prospect of being offered SEN allowance point 1 upon successful appointment to permanent contract.
