Desktop Support Manager
Hemel Hempstead based with flexible working

We"re looking for a Desktop Support Manager to join the IT Team in what is a lively, innovative and demanding environment supporting 18,000 users. This is a great time to join Bourne as we move to modern workplace M365 practises. Despite the pandemic Bourne have been able to continue with multiple large projects which will have great payoffs.

What you will be doing:
**Be much more than a people manager, use your technical expertise to really lead this team
**Oversee the Desktop Support function for team located at Hemel Support and across our 3 Butlins Sites (Bognor, Skegness and Minehead) and ensure they performs to high standard against OLA/SLA's
**Plan and prioritise the work that comes into the Desktop Support ticket queue
**Incident, trend, problem, escalation and major incident management, including reporting
**Build strong relationships with third party suppliers, ensuring we are getting the best from them
**Asset management ensuring we have stock of our product offerings, manage our hardware refresh cycle
**Keep Bourne safe and secure by keeping company security at the forefront of all you do
**Seasoned in crafting personal development and performance management plans
**Attend frequent CAB meetings representing Desktop Support selling change to the business HOD's
**Ensure Desktop related projects are delivered to a high standard and on time
**Manage and support new deployments and installations
**Produce and update technical and training documentation

What we"d like you to bring:
**Excellent team leadership skiils
**Strong technical experience in Client Management and MDM tools, especially SCCM and InTune
**Strong knowledge of the Modern Desktop M365 stack, O365, OneDrive for business and Teams
**Strong in ITSM, familiar working to an ITIL framework to manage the lifecycle of tickets
**Experience keeping a fleet of machines compliant, secure and patched to the highest level
**Experience using Windows 10 and administering it through group policy
**Understanding of networking fundamentals LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN and Proxies
**Understanding of a Hybrid domain, administering AD, Azure AD, Exchange on prem and EXO
**IT service management (ITIL Foundation or above)
**Have a good knowledge of IP telephone systems (hardware and software)
**Experience of Prince 2 or equivalent
