Assistant Buyer
£11.28ph (£22,000)
Immediate start

Ongoing contract for minimum 4 months
Monday to Friday 09.00 - 17.00/08.00 - 16.00
Remote working

Assisting a well-known, highly efficient and busy business. Assisting within a key role ensuring supplies and customers are kept informed and a high level of customer service is provided.

Main Accountabilities:
  • Produce quotes and actively engage with customers to close down quotes if not required and inform suppliers
  • Management of renewals & direct contracts for transactional frameworks
  • Stakeholder engagement/plan
  • Develop and maintain stakeholder information
  • Customer credits to be raised immediately once received
  • Customer debt sheet to be managed on a weekly basis to clear down all debt queries
  • Open PO's to be managed with suppliers
  • Communicate all marketing collateral
  • SOP's to be adhered to at all times
  • Create, review and follow processes to deal with maintenance trust evaluation
Responding to all queries within the agreed SLA's Identify customers not utilising NHSSC and develop a plan to engage

  • Proven track record in fast paced commercial environment with a strong focus on excellent customer service delivery
  • MS Office skills - including advanced Excel (pivots, v.look-ups and macros)
  • Highly Self-motivated team player with the ability to work to tight deadlines
  • An eye for detail and the ability to adhere to operating procedures
  • Excellent communication skills to develop relationships with Colleagues, Customers and Suppliers
  • Educated to High School (Secondary) standard
