Job description - German Speaking Associate
In this German Language Associate position in London, you will be working on exciting deals in a variety of sectors including FIG & FinTech, Consumer, Software, and Business Services in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (DACH). We are looking for someone who is entrepreneurial-minded, collaborative, and interested in a long-term career opportunity amongst a group of experienced investment bankers to provide world-class advice and create value for its existing and new clients.

Key responsibilities - German Speaking Associate
In this Associate role within M&A, you'll be involved in:

* Support Build complex financial models and perform company valuations
* Assists in the preparation of IMs, client presentations, and transaction documents such as NBOs/LOIs/Term Sheets
* Monitor and analyse financial information (economic, industrial, and corporate developments) to produce forecasts of business and industry for use in advising clients on deals
* Lead due diligence, research, and analysis for potential and live transactions
* Oversee analysts in the preparation and analysis of presentation and transaction materials
* Attend team discussions and client meetings
* Any other ad-hoc tasks as required

Job requirements - German Speaking Associate

* At least a 2:1 degree from a leading university
* 3+ years of Investment Banking/ M&A experience
* Business fluency in German and English required
* Excellent grasp of corporate finance, valuation, and financial accounting
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to articulate ideas
* Interest in covered sectors such as FIG & FinTech and Consumer
* Strong communications skills, both written and oral
* Strong personal integrity - high ethical standards and judgment
* Enthusiastic, outgoing, and achievement-oriented character
* Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
