Company Background
  • Privately owned, small and successful manufacturer based in Manchester
  • Design led commercial products, supplied to Large Retailers and B2B markets
  • Currently focusing on strengthening their team and developing new strategies to significantly drive revenue and profit in 2021 and beyond
  • Due to retirement they are now looking for an experienced account manager to join the team and manage some of their key accounts

Job Role | Account Manager
  • Lead point of contact for all designated customers, building and maintaining strong relationships
  • Negotiate contacts and close agreements to maximise profits
  • Manage the sales order process through Sage
  • Provide solutions, react to customer needs and ensure timely execution
  • Develop new business with existing clients and identify areas of improvements
  • Forecast, track and report on key account metrics
  • Create account plans
  • Actively develop your skills - online courses, classroom, theory etc
  • On occasion undertake other duties that management believe will support the businesses growth


  • The ideal candidate will have proven account management experience and be able to demonstrate the ability to build relationships
  • Ideally experience in the manufacturing process for both retail display, commercial and office furniture
  • Experience using Sage 50 is preferable
