Job Details

SRM are exclusively working for a growing , acquisitive business in Hertfordshire who require a resilient AP Clerk to join their finance team, playing a pivotal role in the accounts payable function. This is a temp to perm opportiunity and will pay £125 PAYE and the permanent role will pay £25,000 after the successful interim period.

Duties:
  • Reconcile, set-up and maintain supplier accounts
  • Handle supplier account queries
  • Process credit notes and supplier invoices
  • Check payment runs
  • Send out remittance advices
  • Review balance sheet reconciliations; including bank reconciliations, intercompany and creditors ledger
  • Review Payment runs and support cashflow management

Skills & Experience required:
  • Resilient, personable and approachable
  • Previous experience in accounts payable
  • Ability to work in a team and alone
  • A can-do attitude and ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills
