Job Details

An Electrical Maintenance Engineer is required for a permanent role in Bury. This is a days based role with a bi-weekly on call rota paying c£40k + excellent benefits + call out supplement.

Client Details

The client is a Global manufacturing business with a specialist facility in Bury.

Description

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer you will join a small team and your duties will include, however will not be limited to:
  • Planned and reactive electrical and PLC maintenance on bespoke machinery (training provided)
  • Repair / Improve all aspects of electrical needs on site, to include single and three phase supply, AC/DC drives, Motors, Invertors, Relays PLC's
  • Installation of new equipment / machinery
  • Electrical maintenance of the facilities when necessary including light fittings, plug sockets, emergency lights etc
  • Projects including continuous improvement

This role includes a call out rota requiring site attendance - please do not apply if you are not willing to be on call.

Profile

The successful Electrical Maintenance Engineer will:
  • have previously worked in a similar electrical maintenance role - ESSENTIAL
  • have worked in a manufacturing environment - ESSENTIAL
  • be a strong team player however be confident to work alone also - ESSENTIAL
  • hold a relevant engineering qualification or equivalent - ESSENTIAL
  • hold an electrical qualification such as 16th, 17th or 18th Edition - ESSENTIAL
  • have a working knowledge of PLCs - DESIRABLE

Job Offer

This is a permanent opportunity to work for an International business based in Bury paying c£40k plus excellent benefits.

There is a bi-weekly call out rota paid at a minimum of 4 hours enhanced pay for any requirement to attend site. Call outs on average are once every 6-8 weeks.
