Staff Nurse - Acute Medical Unit - Raigmore Hospital
Band 5 - £25,982 - £32,915 Per annum pro rata
34.5 Hours per week
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Staff Nurse to join our team within the Acute Medicine Unit at Raigmore Hospital.
We are looking for a motivated, caring and compassionate nurse who is able to work well under pressure who is already experienced or is looking to gain experience within an acute environment
The Acute Medicine Unit covers a Clinical Decision Unit, Medical Short Stay/Infection Unit, Ambulatory Emergency Care and Medical High Dependency unit.
The Clinical decision Unit admits all specialities of patients 24/7 providing a fast paced and interesting environment to work within.
Medical Short stay & Infection ward provides care to patients who are expected to have a length of stay of less than 72 hours, focusing on timely discharge and patients with a wide range of Infection related illnesses.
Medical High dependency delivers leverl2 care .
Succesful candidates would work where their skills are best matched , rotation throughout the unit is in place.
You should be able to work well as part of a large and diverse multidisciplinary team.
Candidates should have excellent care values and a strong sense of team spirit coupled with a sense of humour. Candidates should have enthusiasm to work, learn and develop yourself and colleagues within the exciting and challenging high pressure environment.
