Duration: Full Time, Permanent (term time)

Location: St Machar Academy

Job Purpose:

To build successful and sustainable partnerships for pupils who are at risk of not establishing positive destinations. This will include working with pupils at all stages of the school, parents, colleagues within the school, local businesses, colleges, education providers, voluntary organisations amongst others.
The post holder needs to hold as a minimum:
  • PVG
  • Drivers licence.

The post holder will be expected to:
  • Undertake occasional weekend and evening work.
The post holder is expected to demonstrate:

• An ability to establish partnerships leading to positive sustained destinations
• Tracking & monitoring and an ability to establish a baseline and measure impact
• Excellent communication skills
• Reputation management, both for themselves, the school and individual pupils.

The post holder needs to be able to demonstrate an understanding or
experience of:

• Working with Young People
• Building successful relationships
• Negotiation and mediation
• An awareness secondary education
