The Fife Psychology Service provides a range of lifespan services to address unmet psychological needs and to promote wellbeing for the population of Fife. This is a large and growing service, comprising 152 (115 WTE) psychologists and 22 (19 WTE) management and administration staff, providing 11 core clinical psychology specialties, 16 sub-specialties, 20 clinical groups and 11 online supports for adults and children. The service is based across two sites at Lynebank Hospital in Dunfermline and Stratheden Hospital in Cupar, but is delivered across a wide range of hospital and community-based settings.
We are looking for an experienced Psychology Administrator who will provide clinical services administrative/secretarial supports for adult mental health psychology services, as well as supporting operational and business needs as required. You will support the Veterans First Point Service and other adult mental health psychology services as required. You will be based between Rosewell Centre in Lochgelly and Lynebank Hospital in Dunfermline, but may be required to travel to and work from other locations.
You should be comfortable working both as part of a team in a busy office environment, and also alone (alongside clinical staff) in other settings. This is a busy job which requires energy, experience and the ability to use initiative, problem solve and adapt to changing priorities. Previous experience in a busy and professional office environment is essential. Experience gained in a NHS setting would be an advantage.
