An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced individual to undertake the role of Service Manager (Older People) for Angus Health & Social Care Partnership working as part of the AHSCP Leadership Team.

This post provides the opportunity to operationally manage the Medicine for The Elderly Services (3 Inpatient units Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Specialist Nurses Parkinsons Disease, Palliative Care) and Psychiatry of Old Age (3 Inpatient units, Community Mental Health Teams for Older People 3, Dementia Liaison Team, Post Diagnostic Dementia Service, Electroconvulsive Therapy Service, Supported Therapies & Recovery Team) across Angus. The current vacancy is specifically to operationally manage both the services supported by senior nurses.

Alongside the operational management responsibilities, the post holder will demonstrate excellent leadership skills to drive forward transformational change. The post holder will proactively work to continue building on our implementation of the Angus Care Model as we continue to transform with an increasing focus on community care including a strategic shift towards a population approach which includes early intervention and prevention.

You will provide vision, management, leadership and have operational responsibility for the delivery of Medicine for the Elderly and Psychiatry of Old Age across Angus, while working collaboratively with services across Tayside where required.
