We require an individual to provide specialist evidence-based advice to the Health Intelligence Team within the Public Health Directorate. The post holder must be able to demonstrate a strong recent track record in evaluation, analytical skills, experience in information retrieval and management and experience in conducting social science research. Experience of effective negotiating skills in order to support, facilitate and maintain effective partnership working with colleagues representing different organisational cultures and agendas is essential. You must also be:
- Practical and results focused.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing demands/workload.
- Willing to learn to actively seek and digest information.
You will have gained this specialist knowledge and experience of epidemiological, analytical, and statistical techniques and procedures through a degree level qualification, or equivalent experience. You must be able to demonstrate additional relevant specialist knowledge acquired through training and relevant experience to postgraduate diploma level, or equivalent.
The ability to travel throughout Tayside is required for the post.You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
