Job Details

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Physiotherapist with highly developed clinical and leadership skills to lead the Medical Physiotherapy Team working across a range of in-patient ward areas at the VHK which include; cardiology, renal, elderly medicine and general medicine.

You must therefore possess a strong depth of knowledge, understanding and management of a wide range of common and complex disorders associated with aging; and will require knowledge and expertise of complex discharge planning with excellent communication skills.

You will be responsible for a large team of physiotherapy staff; therefore previous experience of staff supervision/management is essential. There will be an expectation to identify, action and participate in quality improvement, clinical audit, in-service training, and evidence based practice.

The department is fully committed to the training of the next generation of clinicians, and as such you will be actively involved with undergraduate and post graduate education.

Our friendly department offers; in-service training, regular appraisal and PDP meetings, excellent peer group and management support.
