An exciting opportunity has arisen for an adult qualified Community Staff Nurse to work with the District Nursing teams in Fife Health and Social Care Partnership Community Services supporting the delivery of high quality nursing care. The post will be on a fixed term basis until the end of March 2023.

You will be a 1st level registered nurse (adult nursing) with an interest in District Nursing. You will also have excellent communication skills and a flexible approach to working within the community setting. You will deliver a high standard of person-centred, non-discriminatory care to patients in the West Fife area.

You will have an allocated base location however work may be assigned within the wider area of West Fife as service delivery and staffing levels dictate. You will be required to participation in a weekend Rota. Travel within this post is essential.

Previous Community experience is desirable, but not essential. You will be supported with an induction and orientation programme as well as supervision to support your learning. If appropriate you will be expected to undertake the NHS Flying Start programme.

A requirement of this post is to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme Prior to appointment.
