An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic part time District Charge Nurse to join a community nursing team within Fife Health and Social Care Partnership Community Services supporting the delivery of high quality nursing care at Lochgelly Health Centre. The post will be fixed term from 13th of December 2021 until the end of November 2022.
You will have responsibility for the line management and clinical leadership of a District Nursing team providing nursing care to a defined patient caseload.
Excellent time management skills as well as the ability to effectively prioritise workload are essential requirements enabling patients to remain as independent as possible in their own homes.
You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be committed to the development of an effective flexible person centred nursing team through your ongoing professional development as well as that of your team.
Community experience is essential and candidates must possess a Specialist Qualification in Community Nursing in the Home / District Nursing, District Nursing qualification.
You will have a full induction and orientation programme as well as ongoing support to assist in continued professional development.
Applications on a secondment basis will be considered providing you have prior agreement from your current line manager.
You will be required to participate in a weekend rota.
