Salary: £35,525 - £42,630 - dependent on experience

Fixed term until 30 April 2023

GamCare is the UK's leading provider of information, advice and support for anyone affected by gambling-related harms.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual passionate about reducing gambling related harms and driving up standards to join our team. The role of Industry Services Project Manager will be to lead a project to make treatment and support more accessible to those who need it. By achieving greater consistency and more prominent display of safer gambling information across gambling websites, apps and in venue, we expect to see an increase of the number of individuals being referred into support and treatment by gambling businesses.

You will manage the overall project and associated working group to undertake background research to support development of a gambling venue code, and further editions of the online code which was implemented by online operators August 2021.

The ideal person for this role will be a strong facilitator who is well organised, with project management and stakeholder management skills, and some experience with basic data analysis and reporting.

GamCare recognises that the gambling industry must continue to raise standards in its approach to minimising gambling harms experienced by its customers. GamCare is in a unique position to better understand the issues faced by individuals experiencing harm from gambling and seeks to improve signposting to safer gambling tools, treatment and support for customers using gambling websites/apps and venues.

This is an exciting time to join GamCare as the charity continues to grow to meet demand for the education and training of individuals and companies to reduce gambling harms.

Educated to degree level or with equivalent experience, your experience will include operating in a project management role in a capacity preferably within the gambling sector.

You must be resident in the UK with a clean driving licence, be prepared to work to a flexible schedule, and be available to travel throughout the UK as required.
