The Company:

One of the top hedge funds in the world is looking to add a software developer to their trading support rota for their Execution Management System. This company is passionate about innovation and leads the buy side market in technology change and transformation. Dealing with a wide range of asset classes, there are extensive opportunities to drive cutting edge solutions for their trading platforms, including exciting greenfield and reengineering work. This role would offer a tremendous chance for exposure to a high performing trading environment, working with cutting edge technology and technologists.

What you will do:
  • Focus on reengineering of their market leading Execution Management System
  • Play a pivotal role in the development of greenfield solutions for their front end tools
  • Opportunity to gain significant domain knowledge by stepping in to affect manual trades when there is no manual trader available
  • Collaborating with business leaders and traders to enhance trading solutions
  • Opportunity to play a pivotal role in the scheming, design, and implementation of longer-term projects

What you will need:
  • At least three years of C# and .NET experience
  • Excellent understanding of SQL and its associated database technology
  • Degree in a STEM subject from a leading university
  • Strong communication skills
  • Critical thinking skills, with the ability to react to events as they unfold
