Reed Education are currently working with an established Nursery chain to recruit for a Level 3 qualified Nursery Assistant based in Winnersh.

We are seeking to find a qualified Level 3 Nursery Assistant, with recent experience in childcare and excellent understanding of early childhood development.

This is a permanent vacancy, to start immediately (or as soon as possible) with a competitive salary. Hours are up to 45 per week, part time and full time are considered.

The ideal person will be someone with recent experience of working in a nursery with a proven track record of supporting children from three months to five years.

The chain of nurseries we are working with are a well-established childcare provider with excellent opportunities for progression internally, with many of their management team having been promoted through the ranks to senior positions.

The successful person will be able to work with all age groups, although the nursery will look to keep staff working where they feel most comfortable, they will rotate staff between rooms from time-to-time.

We are looking for a full time Nursery Assistant to work up to 45 hours per week for one of the nurseries near to Wokingham and Bracknell, however part time candidates are welcome to apply for further discussion as the nursery are open to part time contracts at present.

The ideal person will hold a driving license and have access to their own vehicle as the site is based outside of regular public transport links. The nursery is closely accessible from areas such as Winnersh, Wokingham and Bracknell.

Essential requirements:

- Passion for working with children from 3 months to 5 years.

- Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualification.

- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities.

- Enhanced DBS on the update service (the Nursery will provide this if not).

- Able to meet referencing requirements for safer recruitment.
