FSB is seeking a self-motivated, highly organised individual for a diverse home-based Operational Support Coordinator covering Kent and Medway and Essex . In this role, you will support our local Development Managers in facilitating FSB events (online and face to face), creating engaging content to promote FSB and support campaigns.
The Operational Support Coordinator will liaise with Development Managers, local volunteers, business owners, venues and speakers to ensure events are organised in a professional manner. They will assist the Development Manager to maintain, co-ordinate and grow FSB campaigning at a local level to increase the impact of our national campaigning goals.
You will also play a key role providing support and guidance to FSB members who will make contact via various channels including telephone, email, social media. Enquiries will include information about events, FSB products, issues affecting their business or enquiries about joining the FSB.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the administration and marketing of events, possess the skills to be able to create copy to market our events and understanding of social media.
This is an interesting and varied role which is home based requiring flexible working hours within a 40 hour contract. Candidates must have access to a car and be willing to travel within the region to attend events and meetings. Currently, due to COVID-19, all events and meetings are taking place virtually in line with government guidelines. This is being reviewed on an ongoing basis in line with government guidelines.
