We are recruiting for an IT software company to the life sciences that is looking for an experienced Team Leader to develop and manage a team of medical writers. This role is to be based in the UK and is fully remote.

We are keen to speak to Medical Writers who have worked within a healthcare communications agency and have already worked as a team lead .If you have a strong academic background in the life sciences with a solid understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and medical communications having up-to-date knowledge of key compliance guidelines and documentation, please get in touch. This is a great opportunity to help start a team from scratch while still having the opportunity to work as a medical writer.

Typical responsibilities will include

·Manage the medical writing team

·Create efficient processes and best practice workflows

·Train new team members in best practices, technical features and software functionality

·Create and deliver monthly internal reports

·Serve as point of contact and subject matter expert to clients, as well as the marketing and business development teams.

·Create and deliver monthly internal reports to highlight successes and provide on-going recommendations for further optimization across Outcomes team

·Maintain proper knowledge of software and technology used, while leading process and workflow improvements collected from team members

·Working as part of a larger team to provide excellent client service demonstrated through repeat clients, referrals, and overall account growth
