+ Develop and execute the company’s business strategies in order to achieve goals
+ Prepare and implement comprehensive business plans
+ Develop annual budgets
+ Plan cost-effective operations and market development activities
+ Establish company policies and legal guidelines
+ Build long term, trusting relationships with shareholders, Customers, Suppliers, business partners, state agencies and authorities
+ Work closely with the sales team to identify and secure business expansion opportunities
+ Oversee the company’s financial performance, investments and other business ventures
+ Direct and manage the work of senior Managers, providing guidance and motivation to drive maximum performance
+ Ensure a positive work environment
+ Ensure performance appraisal, training and professional development activities are in place

+ Previous working experience as Managing Director for a minimum of five years, preferably in a related industry
+ Higher Level Degree Qualification in an associated and relevant field. (Management Discipline or a professional qualification)
+ Hands on experience in developing and implementing strategic business plans
+ A high level of commercial awareness
+ Experience and knowledge of Company Accounts
+ In depth knowledge of market changes and forces that influence the company
+ Familiarity with corporate law and management best practices in the area of Human Resources
