Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 8am – 5pm. Friday 8am – 4pm
About the role…
We are currently looking for an Agricultural Service Engineer to join our Service Department in Cirencester. You will be joining a very knowledgeable and friendly team and, as you would expect, we have a very well-structured training programme that works in conjunction with the manufacturer.
The work is technically challenging, and you will be working on some of the most advanced machinery in the market drawing heavily on your knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics and electrics.
An existing knowledge of farm machinery isn’t essential, but you will need to have a positive appreciation for the countryside and the unique demands of farming if you are to really fall in love with the job!
Who we are…
Established in 1947, we are a family business that has grown to become one of the most exciting Agricultural, Groundcare and Construction dealerships in the South of England. You would be working on some of the most advanced machinery in the market and joining a team of engineers, who have an excellent mix of age and experience.
We have been fortunate to welcome many engineers from other dealerships who have gone on to thrive within our business and they have proved that changing companies can really make a difference. It’s also clear that switching brands can feel strange for a while, but the support that’s available from within our depot combined with a structured training programme, means that within no time at all you feel part of the family.
Product training will be provided but we are looking to work with someone who already has a very solid foundation, ideally possessing a good knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, electrics and hydraulics – And many of these skills will be interchangeable from related industries.
