A talented English teacher is required by a fantastic Hackney School to start in September 2021.
We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate English Teacher to work at a highly impressive Hackney Secondary School with a strong academic focus. We wish to find a teacher spirited to take on the challenge of inspiring our pupils and increasing learning standards to Outstanding.
Our school, based in a culturally diverse area of Hackney, is looking for a strong teacher adept with an exciting approach of teaching the curriculum to KS3, KS4, possibly KS5. We are a school embedded in the community and have the support of parents to make a significant impact on the aspirations of our pupils.
The successful candidate will incorporate their subject knowledge into exciting lessons that keep our pupils engaged and furthers their progression and achievement. All our teachers will be work in a supportive and helpful environment where there is a strong sense of community and inclusion.
In particular, candidates should:
Hold a formal secondary teaching qualification, either a Secondary PGCE or equivalent and hold QTS
Show the ability to be a/or become an excellent Sports and Classroom practitioner
Have high expectations of students in terms of learning, achievement and behaviour
Have enthusiasm for developing innovative and creative approaches to learning, teaching and student participation
Have a sound subject knowledge which they can utilise to challenge all pupils
NQT Applications will be accepted. Dependent on the candidate, this may be a permanent position or a long term supply role with a start date in September 2021.
Up to £50,935 Inner London Payscale
