The Inventory Planning Coordinator Opportunity:

Inventory procurement and management is at the heart of everything we do and we’re looking for a passionate, organised individual to join the team as Inventory Planning Coordinator in a newly formed team. This data-enabled team will control our stock planning, purchasing, stock cover management and website product availability whilst operating within the budgeted stock level.

This is an exciting opportunity for a bright, ambitious team player to join the business and work as part of a high performance team managing our stock throughput, cover levels and purchase order management. You will work with the Inventory Planning & Procurement Manager and Inventory Planners to manage the orders and flow of goods from suppliers into our warehouse locations.

What will you be doing?

+ Raising purchase orders and working with suppliers from the point of PO right through to goods delivery
+ Maintaining an inbound schedule of goods arriving and dealing with any queries from the warehouse teams on receipt
+ Processing order confirmations from suppliers quickly and effectively, liaising with other departments where necessary
+ Chasing suppliers for overdue items
+ Resolving issues where stock does not arrive exactly as it should
+ Working with team members to support and share knowledge
+ Working the Finance team on PO and invoice management
+ Other ad-hoc projects and analysis as directed by the Head of Inventory Planning & Procurement or Inventory Planning & Procurement Manager

What are we looking for?

+ Experience in a D2C, supply chain or eCommerce business is beneficial
+ A proactive self starter with a positive mind set
+ Ability to manipulate and model data
+ Strong, professional communication skills
+ Organised, diligent and accurate working style
+ The ability to manage multiple priorities
+ Strong Excel skill and experience with spreadsheets and data models
