Finance Director Cheshire c£120 000 ,car , benefits , LTiP

Private equity backed our client is profitable , liquid , well run and with a clear strategy .With a number of sites across the country it has a reputation for product quality and customer service . We seek an outstanding Finance Director to work closely with the Chairman and Chief Executive and play a broad commercial role with responsibility for Finance , HR and Information Technology.

The Finance Director to be appointed will through a central team and site financial support lead finance strategies including the annual budgeting and forecasting processes ensuring that this is supported by appropriate and timely financial controls and KPI driven performance reporting .He / she will work effectively as one of the key senior leaders of the group supporting all parts of the business to work together effectively and towards the common goal of business success. The individual to be appointed will manage relationships with key lenders and stakeholders and will monitor and evaluate cash flow and working capital , proactively manage performance ensuring corrective action is taken when performance is not delivered . He/ she will provide guidance to the business leaders and assist in them achieving optimal financial performance and value creation , will constantly monitor performance and will identify and appropriately manage risks and issues .

The successful candidate will proactively display leadership behaviours which promote the desired culture across the company and will strive at all times to maintain productive relationships across the business both internally and externally. A qualified accountant with a real passion for manufacturing the individual to be appointed will have a record of achievement in a sophisticated customer facing manufacturer utilising modern methodology. He / she will demonstrate an effective approach to developing teams , will be an excellent communicator with good people skills and be credible with stakeholders . Previous responsibility for other commercial functions in particular HR and IT would be helpful .
