We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our growing team as a Recruitment Specialist. You will be based in Felsted, Essex on either a part time or full time, permanent basis and in return, we are offering a competitive salary of £28,000 – £31,000 per annum plus excellent benefits.

About the role

As our Recruitment Specialist you will implement the introduction of in-house recruitment for Local Hospice Lottery Ltd.

The role will encompass all aspects of recruitment from placing adverts via the 360 portal, screening applicants, conducting telephone interviews, searching recruitment databases and matching candidates, and liaising with line managers to arrange formal interviews. The role will also liaise with the Human Resources Team to complete the recruitment process.

You will be expected to work in line with Local Hospice Lottery values, which are to be Supportive, Fair, Professional and Ambitious.

This role is based in Felsted, Essex and due to the remote location, having your own transport is essential, as is a flexible approach to the working hours required.

(Please note: Due to current social distancing measures, you will be required to work both from home and the office until such time as restrictions are eased enough to allow for a full return to office-based working – although some home working options may continue beyond the removal of Covid-19 measures)

What will you be doing as our Recruitment Specialist?

The main focus of recruitment will be to recruit new sales staff to work in face-to-face fundraising roles promoting Local Hospice Lottery on behalf of our partner hospices across the country. As such the role will involve regular discussions with managers, and building relationships with chosen recruitment agencies.

Strategically, you will be looking to plan to keep ahead of recruitment requirements and to research and develop long term candidate attraction strategies. Reporting to the Director of HR, the candidate will generate weekly, monthly and annual data on recruitment achievements and further data management to enable analysis and measurement against Key Performance Indicators

What makes you our ideal Recruitment Specialist?

+ Experience of in-house end-to-end recruitment including building and utilising a variety of sourcing plans and tools
+ Experience of having worked with an automated recruitment system
+ Outstanding communication skills and the ability to come across in a confident, professional and friendly manner are pre-requisites for the role
+ IT skills and experience of working to tight deadlines and managing priorities are also essential
+ Previous recruitment of sales teams is desirable
+ Your own transport is essential for this role
