PMO - Project Manager

Investigo are partnering with an organisation that is currently looking for a PMO to be accountable for activities while providing teams with support, governance process guidance, tooling, schedule management, and reporting.

You will be responsible for close interaction with market teams, system integrators, and 3rd parties in order to effectively deliver PMO operations across the programme.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Stakeholder management at various levels (workstreams to the Programme Execs)
  • Definition of and adherence monitoring, and part-ownership of various Governance and Project Management processes which include, but not limited to:
    • Planning and reporting on the progress vs plan (key project KPI's)
    • Capacity and resource planning
    • Stage Gate criteria adherence
    • Risks, issues, dependencies, assumptions, decisions, and actions management
    • Schedule management
    • On-boarding/off-boarding
    • Change control
    • Lessons learnt
  • Deliverables quality review and management of the Programme Audit Folder
  • Team briefings and communications on existing Programme standards
  • Commercial reviews and commercial management of 3rd parties
  • Ensuring that key Project tools - Microsoft Teams / JIRA - are fi for purpose to support the project delivery methodology
  • Contribution into the Programme methodology
  • Ad-hoc reports and be a delegate for wider set of the PMO-related activities
  • Execution of tasks, delegated from the Programme Leadership

Core Skills
  • Project Management competencies
  • Understanding of SAP Global Template delivery methodology in a complex legacy landscape
  • Strong communication skills, experienced at stakeholder management
  • Pro-active follow-up
  • Ability to prioritise and take decisions
  • Fulfilled an Associate Project Manager or a PMO role on 2-3 full SAP project lifecycles (more than 50+ staff)
  • Ability to set and maintain high compliance and standards
  • Ability to manage delivery of 3rd parties

Functional Skills
  • MS Project Expert
  • JIRA Expert
  • Excellent with Microsoft Office products
  • Understanding of technology and business change is a plus
  • Awareness of S/4 HANA delivery methods in comparison to traditional SAP ECC
