Our client, who is a household name charity, is seeking a Fundraising and Events Manager in the City of Chelmsford.

He or she should be proactive and experienced in fundraising and will take a lead role in ambitious plans for development.

The successful candidate will work in a supportive team and become part of a diverse and inclusive community that is committed to championing the rights of people with a learning disability.

The purpose of the role will be to develop and lead an ambitious fundraising strategy and calendar of events which effectively promotes the mission and objectives of the charity.

The role gives an ideal opportunity to be creative and innovative in producing fundraising initiatives and events. You will gain immense job satisfaction by making a positive difference to the charity, its service users and the wider community.

Our client is a local, independent charity established in 1951 which supports people with a learning disability across mid-Essex, providing vital lifelong learning, social opportunities and general support.

A full job specification will be provided to our short-listed applicants.

The role offers a full-time equivalent basic salary of £24,000, but will be performed on a part-time basis for 20 hours per week.

The successful candidate will be allowed to work flexibly but should expect to visit the office at least once per week.
