Job Title: Senior National Account Manager

Reports To: Head of Sales

Department: Sales

Brands: Cutex and Revlon Cosmetics

Location: Head Office, London (hybrid working, 3 days p/w in the office)



Job Summary



This role works across the Revlon Cosmetics & Cutex business, within the Mass division of the company. They will report into the Head of Sales, work extremely closely with their direct sales team, and also cross-functionally with brand, supply and finance. They will manage the Senior Sales Administrator who provides support to the whole of Mass. The individual will take full P&L responsibility for managing the development and growth of the Revlon & Cutex business within Boots & Tesco.



Key Objectives:


  • To achieve Company sales & profit targets with Revlon Beauty Care Brands & Cosmetics products in nominated accounts in line with agreed strategies and plans
  • To develop and maintain relationships with key external clients
  • Provide accurate financial forecasting and volume forecasting for account
  • Develop and implement strategy for relevant brands across the range, customers and promotional parameters


Key Accountabilities


  • Deliver sales and account gross sales value, trade spend and net sales value in line with plans
  • Measure progress on Revlon and customer key deliverables through development of a JBP
  • Implement Trade terms and conditions as well as promotional plans
  • Negotiation and account contact strategy with each account
  • Accurate account stockholding analysis (in warehouse and in store) and management

· Provide relevant account performance information to wider Revlon Business Teams
  • P & L responsibility and ownership
  • Invoice and Credit management
  • Liaise with Customer Managers and internal Marketing department colleagues to produce accurate and timely plans for promotional activity for designated accounts, with these implemented to agreed standards
  • Encourage and facilitate contact between wider Revlon Business Team and relevant counterpart within the account
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key external clients
  • Provide accurate financial forecasting and volume forecasting for account
  • Be accountable for a range of commercial negotiations e.g. JBPs, space/location in store, new launches
  • Provide relevant account performance information to wider Revlon Business Teams and make valid recommendations to implement solutions and continually improve performance.
  • Man-Management to include overseeing full range change process & clearance customers


Knowledge and Skills required


  • An experienced salesperson with a proven track record in the cosmetics industry and /or health and beauty or FMCG at SNAM or NAM level.
  • Boots & Tesco experience highly desired
  • Highly numerate - strong analytically, solid understanding of P&Ls and a high level of computer literacy, in particular Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong knowledge of the forecasting and demand planning.
  • Results-driven with the ability to establish and leverage credible business relationships.
  • High commercial acumen.
  • A strategic thinker, who is assertive and an exceptional negotiator.
  • Demonstrate drive, desire and enthusiasm to exceed financial targets.
  • Ability to construct good commercial selling presentations.
  • A solid understanding of the in-store environment, promotional and POS landscape.
