About The Role

We are looking for a Finance Manager who will report directly to the CFO. The Finance Manager will be responsible for the day to day running of the finance function with help from the Finance Assistant. They will be responsible for keeping accurate and complete records from the accounts payables process to month end close. They will also work with the wider team to ensure finance processes are followed in the most efficient way for all stakeholders.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Take a proactive approach to maintain and improve finance processes and controls
  • Maximise use of features from current accounting software (Netsuite)
  • Management of existing and new revenue streams
  • Oversee the Finance Assistant in relation to the accounts payables process, day to day banking and virtual credit card platform
  • Ownership of month end close including all reconciliations, P&L, balance sheet, intercompany and consolidations
  • Ensure all transactions are coded correctly in the accounting software to filter through to clear departmental reporting
  • Support the CFO to ensure the monthly management pack is accurately prepared and in a timely manner
  • Work with the CFO on the annual audit process, accounts preparation and tax return
  • Work with CFO and external advisors where needed to manage all direct and indirect tax filings in the UK, EU and US


Your Skills:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
  • Strong excel skills
  • Meticulous approach and high attention to detail
  • A tendency to ask why in order to understand things from first principles
  • Adept at problem solving
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
  • Willingness to help wherever needed
  • Experience mentoring junior team members
