There is an exciting new opportunity for a Finance Manager to join an established and successful organisation based in the outskirts of Colchester.

This role would be suited to an individual with proven people management skills within a busy, high volume department, possessing a high level of commitment and determination to succeed.

Responsibilities:

• Effectively leading a team

• Taking ownership of processes within a department

• Producing accurate reports on monthly statistics and KPIs

• Liaise with other departments to improve cross-functional processes and to resolve queries which will involve some travel

• Reviewing statements, and assisting/answering them with their queries

• Investigate possibilities for improvements to processes and procedures

• Provide limited cover for the other Managers within the department

The successful individual will be able to communicate with people at all levels, be solutions focused and an influential team player. A high level of accuracy and the ability to prioritise in a high-pressure and busy environment is also required.

Previous experience of managing a large team is essential as being able to convey how you have promoted and grown your team and its individuals.
