Senior Business Development Manager

We are working with one of the global law firms on a Senior BD Manager position to head up their international Corporate practice consisting of - M&A, Private Equity, Equity Capital Markets, Funds and International Corporate Reorganizations). The role will report to the Head of Practice Group BD and support the firm's Global Co-Chair based in London.

This role will see you managing and developing a team who are also aligned to the firms Corporate practice.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join and award winning corporate team who manage the majority of the markets high profile M&A deals.

You will be providing operational and strategic support - helping partners and senior lawyers to attract and retain profitable client relationships, managing its market profile and developing a sense of community within the group in order to build strong and cohesive client teams.

This is a rare opportunity to lead an already successful practice through a period of growth and change.

  • Support new partner hires in developing their practice.
  • Account manage a handful of key employment clients.
  • Lead the employment client listing programme.
  • Develop client value added services.
  • Develop the groups key client and client targeting programme.
  • Provide leadership and direction to you team of reports.
  • Manage a small team

The successful candidate must have senior management experience within another law firm. You will have a deep knowledge of MBD processes for professional services - a sound understanding of new business processes, digital marketing, CRM and the emerging technologies that will help win and retain legal work.
