Are you an experienced CNC Machinist looking to join a rapidly expanding industry leading organisation? In this key role you will work on programming and setting up a variety of manual and CNC machines to produce precision components from a variety of materials (mainly alloy). You will also ensure the quality of the product meets requirements and make sure machinery is running to its maximum potential. The role offers real management potential as the department grows.
They are looking for operators at both senior and junior level, you will join a team working on a shift pattern that runs Monday to Friday and alternates on a weekly basis from early shift (6am-2pm) to the next week on the late shift (2pm-10pm) with early finishes on a Friday.
We are looking for people who have strong milling experience and programming knowledge (Fanuc) this position is working in a high-tech environment with a industry leader. there is great progression routes and a chance to learn new skills.
For this role you will need to have:
Experience setting up new products on CNC machines, writing programs, recording information as required. You will require strong Milling experience. Ensuring output and quality targets are achieved and optimising production performance. Operating machines as required. Check and maintain tooling in the machine shop. To look for and actively progress opportunities for continuous improvement within the production environment
