This two form entry primary school is seeking an experienced School Business Manager to support them during a period of restructure.
Reporting to the Head Teacher, you will be responsible for leading on all aspects of the support function relating to finance, HR and site management.
This is a varied role and you will be required to wear a number of hats from reporting and advising on budget spend, overseeing staff payroll to submitting financial information to the central support team. Leading on HR issues from generalist queries to advising on ER cases relating to sickness and absence management and ensuring the site team are complying with Health & Safety procedures.
This is a 2-3 month assignment with the potential to be extended. It is based on school site, is full time and all year through.
The successful candidate will have previous school experience in leading the support function and its small team, be highly organised and confident in managing upwards.
You will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check if not already registered on the Update Service.
