An opportunity to break into the Lloyd's insurance market. You will be joining a leading insurance group at Lloyd's, supporting the Syndicate Accounting Manager in running the monthly and quarterly close process and assisting with the preparation of analytical tool and reports. Responsibilities will include the accounting of insurance technical and non-technical transactions in the relevant ledgers of the Syndicates, all operational aspects of the production of ledgers, including the preparation of account reconciliations and analysis of balance sheet and profit and loss items, interaction with underwriters, actuaries, treasury and auditors, development of process improvements, and involvement with ad hoc projects. The successful candidate will be a Part-Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACCA/CA) who has experience of working in the insurance industry and advanced Excel and report writing skills.
