Interim Opportunity

Positive Luxury's mission is to shape a sustainable future for luxury and, to ensure we provide world-class, tailor-made services to our clients undergoing assessment on our ESG+ framework, we require an interim Account Manager (with sustainability knowledge) and/or an interim Sustainability Consultant (with client-facing experience).

Key Responsibilities

The increasing demand for sustainable business practice and operations, alongside our recently upgraded assessment framework, has resulted in an unprecedented volume of luxury businesses undertaking assessment to gain Butterfly Mark certification. Positive Luxury requires one or two individuals to support new and existing clients going through this process to ensure we provide value to these organisations. You will:
  • Provide leadership and clear direction to each client's sustainability champion and team
  • Support clients through the on-boarding, information gathering, survey completion and initial results phases
  • Provide clear guidance on key areas of underperformance and actions required for improvement and eventual certification
  • Ensure each certified company thoroughly understands its' assessment results - strengths, risks and opportunities for innovation, the Positive Actions they earn as part of certification, and how to leverage their certification
  • Build knowledge and capability into clients' organisations as part of the assessment process to aid them in attaining certification and equipping them to develop and implement post-certification a sustainability roadmap
  • Coach and monitor clients' usage of Butterfly Mark license on an ongoing basis, ensuring they optimise the opportunities to promote their certification and do so credibly and appropriately
  • Work with existing clients due for recertification, outlining requirements and agreeing timelines to undergo re-assessment


Attributes

- At least three to five years of professional experience in client-facing roles - either account management or sustainability consulting - or as a Sustainability Officer within a company

- Demonstrable understanding of sustainable business practices and supply chain operations, ideally within fashion or other luxury category

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

- Experience influencing and negotiating with clients, internal or external

- Detail-oriented, highly organised individual able to manage a diverse workload
