Infrastructure Engineer - Hatfield - Permanent - £(phone number removed)pa

Infrastructure Engineer required for a leading IT consultancy in the Hatfield area. My client are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer who will take ownership of deploying and planning of core infrastructure components. The Infrastructure Engineer will be technically competent and ideally someone with 2+ years experience in a similar infrastructure role. You'll be in a position to provide client facing support and use your analytical IT skill set to find novel solutions to complex problems.

My client can also offer plenty of career development and will give you the chance to pick up new skills and the possibility of moving into a career in management if desired.

Key skills:

2+ years experience in performing system health checks, log examinations, and trouble shooting on a daily basis
Experience with Windows 2012/2016 upwards required
Comfortable with Linux basics
Experience with Active Directory
Knowledge of networking and infrastructure concepts (DNS, VPNs, Firewalling, virtulisation, etc.)
Great attitude
Willingness and eagerness to learn
