Measure and track performance against programme targets to ensure best value for money possible Act as the main point of contact for the category by undertaking a professional and responsive client approach To build and manage effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels across the NHS and Supplier Landscapes Develop and manage multiple programmes from tendering to contract award Establish category and sourcing strategies across the portfolio of categories, keeping to timescales, delivery of the identified benefits and management of suppliers to ensure competition within the marketProfile
The successful Category Manager will have:
Supplier relationship and strategy development SRM skills Public Procurement Tender Experience Jaegger experience (desirable) Ideally MCIPS qualified Have a background in excellent stakeholder engagement within Procurement & Supply Chain Be results driven, being able to deliver under pressure and meet demanding deadlinesJob Offer
