I am looking for an Infrastructure/EUC Engineer who is commercially experienced with 2nd/3rd Line Desktop Support, to support my client with project and BAU workload.
You will be based on-site in Swindon, and become part of an established team who are responsible for supporting and maintaining the company's ICT systems and for providing efficient desktop support to 180 end users across the UK and America.
Working Hours: Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:30pm.
This role has been deemed inside IR35.
I am looking for an immediate start/1 week notice, where possible.
To support and maintain the company's Microsoft Desktop & Mobile operating systems. along with general maintenance of all IT-related hardware and software to ensure the successful day-to-day operation of the IT systems.
Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for all IT related matters.
Escalate all critical issues to 3rd party service providers, and/or internally to the Technical Systems Manager.
Confidently liaise with 3rd party IT services & support companies as and when required.
Help to identify common trends or any underlying issues.
Undertake internal user/desk moves.
Software/hardware replacements or upgrades.
Undertake small to medium-sized IT projects as agreed with the Technical Systems Manager.Skills/Experience required:
Strong technical knowledge across Infrastructure/EUC.
Proven commercial experience with providing 2nd/3rd Line technical support.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Very strong problem-solving skills.
Commercial experience with all versions of Windows Desktop Operating Systems, all versions of Microsoft Office Applications, Active Directory and Exchange (Apply online only)), PC and MAC hardware, printers, scanners and peripherals, PC connectivity - LAN, WAN, TCP/IP and VPN
Strong experience with MAC Operating Systems and Applications
