Work as Deputy Nurse Manager within a 60 bed nursing and dementia home in Southport, Merseyside. The Home is maintained to very high standards and is fully compliant with the CQC.
As Deputy Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Registered Home Manager in managing and developing high quality services for all residents, and the management and development of the staff team.
We are looking for a Nurse Qualified Deputy to instill a culture of care and continuous improvement across the service, actively working with the team, residents and their families to develop a centre of excellence.
The successful candidate will ensure the promotion of high standards of care, fulfil the duties of the Home Manager where required, ensuring the home runs in accordance with CQC guidelines and that the team are managed appropriately and that the home is run in a smooth and efficient manner.
· This is a full time, permanent position working 42 hours a week and will include both nursing and supernumery hours.
· The role includes working 3 x 12 hour shifts from 8am-8pm and 1 x 6 hour day.
· The salary is at a competitive rate of £19ph with paid breaks and an annual salary of £41,496
To apply for this role, we are looking for an RGN, RMN or RNLD Registered Nurse with experience working with the elderly in supervisory position. You will be able to demonstrate a track record in leading, motivating, managing and developing staff.
You will be self motivated, resilient and well organised, able to work well under pressure, and flexible to meet the needs of the residents and the home.
Duties will include ensuring all care plans, risk assessments and audits are monitored and updated on a regular basis in accordance with regulatory requirements.
You will continue to build a positive reputation of the home and liaise professionally with visitors including families, friends and other external stakeholders
