Our client in West Hampstead is looking for a passionate and experienced Room Leader to work within their baby room.

The Role: The nursery is divided into two floors, the Over 2s and the Under 2s with each floor having a floor deputy/room leader. You have the very important task of leading and mentoring a passionate team, implementing and overseeing policies and procedures and ensuring outstanding standards throughout the setting. You will work closely with the manager as part of the senior management team and will be ambitious, experienced, organized and professional.

We offer 37.5 hour weekly contracts (7.5 hour daily shifts), training and development, social events and the opportunity to work with an experienced manager with a proven track record of success.

Details about the role:

* Adhere to all company policies and procedures to an above average/outstanding standard

* Ensure that all company policies and procedures are adhered to by all staff, all the time

* Promote an outstanding standard of quality within the nursery, including practice, environment and resources to meet the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage

* Ensure appropriate planning and assessment is in place and is accurately maintained by the appropriate staff and regularly evaluated and evidenced

* Support the development of good practice in relation to special educational needs and inclusion

* Provide leadership and support to all playroom based staff to enable them to establish and maintain professional positive working relationships with both colleagues, parents and carers

* Deploy staff effectively to ensure the required standards are maintained

* Full time position (37.5 hours a week)
