Seven Resourcing are looking for a temporary Kids Camp Coordinator to work in Norwich. This position is initially for a period of 6 weeks and is paying £12.00 - £18.00 per hour (paid to you via an umbrella company).

The role:

To plan, prepare and deliver structured sessions of sports, crafts and games for a group of 5-15 year olds as part of the Council's Ofsted registered school holiday play scheme.

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with Kids Camp Supervisor to maintain Ofsted requirements / standards.
Focus on the children at all times. Ensure that all leaders welcome and get to know the children, ensuring that their enjoyment is your prime concern. Care for and encourage children, integrating nervous children.
Ensure the Health and Safety of children at all times. Be fully aware of Kids Camp policies.
Plan, prepare and deliver a quality, fun programme of sport and non-sport activities. Prepare in advance for each session ensuring there are enough resources available. Maintain interest throughout each session, ensuring that each child is able to participate, giving regard to age and preferences.
Ensure the safe and effective use of venue facilities and equipment. Respect the venue facilities and ensure they are treated with care and left clean and tidy at the end of each day. Check the equipment and resources daily and identify damaged items.
To resolve day to day issues that may arise including child behavioural issues or parental concerns/enquiries.
To ensure all children leave our supervision with the correct person as nominated during the signing in process.
Applicant Requirements:

Qualifications: Minimum level 3 qualification in relevant area of work as set out in the National Qualifications Framework.
Experience: Experience of working with a wide range of children and young people in a playwork setting (voluntary or paid).
Compliance: Proof of ability to work and live in the UK. Current DBS and 2 references.
Hours: 37.5 hours p/w.
