SEO Copywriter

As our SEO Copywriter you'll be a crucial member of our growing marketing team. Taking your knowledge of the customer, our business and digital marketing, you'll create compelling, SEO rich product copy across all Hallmark online channels and for our retail customers. Representing a wide range of voices, your words will connect with a diverse customer base whilst maximising algorithms and search term to ensure you're able to access the right audiences at the right time.

SEO Copywriter Responsibilities:

Implementing a consistent tone of voice, which connects with a diverse audience, for product copy across all our online channels and retailers
Defining best practice for product copy for our own branded websites, working with our marketing agency continually test, learn and adjust
Writing high bar SEO-rich product descriptions for Amazon, using data and analytics to consistently improve keywords
Using research tools to identify search trends and turns findings into actions
Works on a wide variety of briefs, concepts and projects to create emotionally connecting copy that meets the parameters of the brief
Skillfully proof-reads to ensure the quality of our content
Works closely with the US, our marketing agency and wider business to continuously learn and develop your knowledge, sharing learnings on processes, brand and strategy

SEO Copywriter Requirements:

You'll be a collaborator, idea generator and show high consumer sensitivity when skilfully translating emotions into words, using your in-depth understanding of language to connect with our consumers online. To be successful in this role you'll need to demonstrate:

Knowledge and experience of using SEO best practice for digital copy writing
You're proficient in excel, automation, formulas and other online platforms and software that continuously improves operations
Experience of writing successful Amazon content and copy, would be significant advantage
Experience and/or knowledge of research tools, google analytics and other online data tools, would be a significant advantage
An excellent understand of the English language, showcasing your abilities to be consistent with multiple brand guidelines, connecting with your diverse target audience
Your use of data analytics and consumer behavior to adapt and develop your campaigns
You're engaged in, and receptive to open feedback and discussion with managers, peers and others, to maintain a productive, inter-dependent and resilient creative environment
You're aware of your personal strengths and are proactive in seeking developmental opportunities, keen to share skills and develop your wider team
