Join Seetec as the DTS Business Partner to maintain a positive relationship with appropriate internal stakeholders to ensures that services are developed and delivered to meet evolving needs. Bringing a new focus to understanding and supporting the business functions will be key in exploiting technology to deliver positive business outcomes. The role will also support customers driving forward pain points, issues and strategies to resolution, whilst ensuring a clear roadmap and picture of each area is maintained for DTS.
The DTS Business partner will act as a subject matter expert for DTS for the function they are aligned to ensure compliance, guidance and movement is in line with DTS Strategy.
This role will assist the implementation of the technology strategy and roadmap for Seetec and support subject-matter-experts to drive business thinking in how to achieve technological advantage. The role will provide an effective business engagement service, maintaining an in-depth understanding of the functions, business processes and information technology needs, ensuring effective alignment between Digital & Technology Service priorities and business requirements, helping customers to translate business needs into technical requirements.
The successful candidate will be Educated to degree level or equivalent by experience, as well as have previously created and proactively leading change initiatives in a complex environment.
This role will utilise well-developed influencing skills to assist customers to drive forward issues and strategic thinking, ensuring a full and complete picture of each business pillar is maintained on behalf of the Digital & Technology Services.
•Maintaining Customer Relationships - Establishing and maintaining a constructive relationship between the Digital & Technology Services department and relevant internal stakeholders to understand their needs and business drivers. Influencing senior level internal stakeholders, Members and multiple external stakeholders. Horizon Scanning. The role will be responsible for conducting regular market scanning on behalf and with Digital & Technology Services to ensure the best possible solutions can be assessed and included in their areas roadmaps as appropriate.
•Assisting Service Development - Identifying changes to the customer environment and positive technology trends that could potentially impact utilisation of the services provided. Conducting regular market scans to ensure the best possible technical solutions are assessed and included in roadmaps as appropriate. Assisting subject matter experts in both the development and application of technology for the pillars to which they are allocated to ensure appropriate guidance.
•Managing expectations - Ensuring that stakeholders are aware of the corporate priorities affecting the Digital & Technology Services department and negotiating suitable priorities for additional work being requested. Mediating in cases where there are conflicting or competing requirements for services from different business units where limited internal resources exist.
•Ensuring delivery against Service Level Agreements and agreed commitments. Ensuring that the current and future service level requirements of customers are identified, understood and documented in SLA (Service Level Agreement). Review these periodically - at least annually. Utilising insight and contributing to business plans to support the achievement of the organisation's strategic objectives.
Skills and Experience
•Accredited to the Business Relationship Management Institute (BRMI) Business Relationship Manager Professional (BRMP) or evidence of working towards that accreditation.
•Demonstrable experience of assisting strategic planning with senior stakeholders combined with experience of successfully supporting the transformation of data and technology services with a focus on both cost reduction and improvements to customer satisfaction.
•Experiences across a range of technology disciplines and strategic planning functions, with demonstrable ability to translate business to technology requirements and vice versa.
•Ability to understand and uphold the principles and compliance to the Digital and Technical Services reference architecture, and to promote those principles across the business functional areas.
•Good interpersonal skills with the ability to assist in influencing, persuading and negotiating with senior leaders and other stakeholders, together with proven and demonstrable people management skills.
•Evidence of continual professional development to keep pace with technical and business change in line with defined SFIA V7 competencies
•Excellent interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills
•Demonstrable problem-solving skills including within complex environments
•Excellent communication and presentation skills
•Demonstrable credibility and confidence in the Technology field
•Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office and HR databases)
•Comprehensive experience of working within an ITIL service management function.

Salary: £42,765 - £53,350 p.a. (dependent on experience)
Hours: 8.30am - 5.00pm Monday- Thursday 8.30 am - 4.30pm Friday (Full Time)
