We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a Data Manager to join our team based at our Whiteley office. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £45,000 - £50,000 per annum plus excellent benefits!

Data Manager Role:

You will have accountability and control of Onecom data across all sources. The Data Manager is responsible for maintaining an excellent standard of data quality across all data sources, through continuous and measurable improvement, via a commitment to identify and resolve internal data processing and customer data issues.

You will have to produce key business insights through analysis of data from key sources and producing reports and visualisation of data to senior management. The Data Manager manages and mentors the Data Administrators within the Data Management team The Data Manager also has the responsibility of ensuring the legitimacy of data acquisition into marketing solutions including data that is provided to clients, as well as ongoing compliance with GDPR, PECR and ICO Codes and guidance throughout the data lifecycle.

Responsibilities of our Data Manager will include:

- Managing and mentoring the data management team

- Owning the data relationship with internal sales teams

- Conducting internal and external data quality reviews

- Identifying key client data provision issues and provide solution guidance that meets industry, legislative and validation requirements

- Establishing and implementing appropriate solutions and metrics for measuring all aspects of data asset quality

- Defining rules for internal processing improvements and support implementation

- Working with internal stakeholders to co-ordinate tasks and the approach to acquire data from key organisations

- Managing information and data projects

- Managing data in the organisations CRM, including data integrity, data analysis and business insights

- Escalating point for any data issues

- Supporting and develop links with all staff including support of training where required

- Owning certain GDPR policies / documentation overseen by the GDPR owner

- Experience within CRM Data Management & Salesforce would be a bonus

- Excellent analytical skills

- Experience with Data Migration

What you'll need to succeed as our Data Manager:

- Experience of managing data compliance procedures

- Experience of managing and working with complex data sources

- Experience of managing a team

- Ability to manage multi-channel data workflows

- Strong engagement and stakeholder management skills to adhere to governance procedure

- Metric orientated

- Experience and awareness of Data Protection, GDPR, PECR and other applicable laws, regulations and guidance - - Excellent comprehension, written and verbal communication skills at all levels

- Experienced of managing relational databases

- Experienced of extraction, transformation and loading of data
